My name is Maja Prijić, creator of the Cakes & Tales project.
Pastry-making has been my love and life calling for over 10 years. I specialize in creating cakes and desserts with soul those that tell a story and awaken emotion.

I have combined my passion for sweets with a desire to promote the richness of our tradition.
That is why I created a cooking class concept that introduces foreigners to our culture in the most beautiful way — through aromas, flavors, and stories. I believe that every dessert has its own history, and in my workshops, that history becomes a memory my guests take home with them.

At Cakes & Tales, baking is more than just following a recipe it’s stepping into a story of Serbian tradition.

We organize hands-on workshops where guests prepare traditional cakes, tortes and beloved old recipes passed down through generations, designed for travelers who want to truly taste Serbia, companies looking for unique team building experiences, and groups who want something warm, authentic and unforgettable.

Workshops take place in our cozy space in Sarajevska 82, Belgrade, or we bring the experience to your hotel or event location, wherever the space is suitable. Because culture isn’t only something you see it’s something you create, share and taste together Taste of Serbia, made by your own hands.
